Frequently Asked Questions
My schema isn't showing in Google's Rich Results Test
Make sure you've filled in the required fields (business name, address, business type). Use the JSON-LD Preview panel in the plugin settings to verify valid output, then test the page URL in Google's Rich Results Test.
The conflict detection is flagging my SEO plugin
This is expected. If your SEO plugin (Yoast, RankMath, etc.) outputs Organization or LocalBusiness schema, it may conflict with this plugin's output. You can disable the overlapping schema in your SEO plugin's settings, or use the conflict detection panel to decide which source to keep.
How do I add multiple locations?
Multi-location support is a Pro feature. After upgrading, go to Schema Generator > Locations in your WordPress admin. Each location is a custom post type with its own address, hours, and schema output.
Will this slow down my site?
No. The plugin outputs lightweight JSON-LD in the page head. There is no frontend JavaScript, no CSS, and no external requests. It has zero impact on page load time or Core Web Vitals.
My business type isn't listed
The Free tier includes 30 parent types (Restaurant, Store, MedicalBusiness, etc.). The Pro tier unlocks 130+ specific subtypes (Dentist, Plumber, RealEstateAgent, etc.). If your type still isn't listed, email support and we'll add it in the next update.
How do I verify my schema is working?
Use the built-in JSON-LD Preview panel to see your schema output. Then paste your page URL into Schema.org Validator or Google Rich Results Test to confirm everything is valid.
Can I use this on a multisite installation?
Yes. The plugin works on standard WordPress and multisite. Each site in the network can have its own schema configuration.
How do I add geo coordinates?
In the plugin settings under Address, enter your latitude and longitude. You can find your coordinates by searching your address on Google Maps and copying them from the URL.
