The slider isn't showing up
Make sure both before and after images are set. Check that the plugin is activated and there are no JavaScript errors in your browser console (F12 > Console tab).
The images look stretched or cropped wrong
The slider uses object-fit: cover to ensure both images fill the container. For best results, use images with the same aspect ratio. The before image is anchored to the left edge.
The block doesn't appear in Gutenberg
Make sure you're running WordPress 5.8 or later. Try deactivating other plugins to check for conflicts. Clear any caching plugins.
The slider doesn't work in Elementor preview
The live preview in Elementor shows a static version. Save and preview the page normally to see the full interactive slider.
Can I change the slider direction to vertical?
Vertical orientation is planned for a future update. Currently only horizontal sliding is supported.
How do I add the slider programmatically?
Use the shortcode in your theme: echo do_shortcode('[sleek_compare before="url" after="url"]');
The slider is laggy on my site
Sleek Compare is very lightweight, so lag usually indicates large image files. Optimize your images (aim for under 200KB) and ensure lazy loading is enabled (it is by default).
How do I update the plugin?
Download the latest version from Gumroad (you'll receive an email when updates are available), then upload via Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. Your settings will be preserved.
How do I access my license key?
After purchasing, your license key is shown on the Gumroad receipt page and emailed to you. You can also access it anytime at gumroad.com/library by logging in with your purchase email.
